OnePlus has added a new phone to the OnePlus 9 series in China: OnePlus 9RT 5G. The newest OnePlus phone is an enhanced version of the OnePlus 9R and is closer to the flagship OnePlus 9. The flagship smartphone comes with flagship-grade specifications at a very attractive price point. Let’s take a look at the detailed specifications and pricing of the OnePlus 9RT ahead:
OnePlus 9RT 5G specifications
Starting off with the display, the newly launched OnePlus 9RT comes with a 6.62-inch full-HD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED display. In addition, the display also comes with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. We also get to see a touch sampling rate of a whopping 600Hz. The display also comes with 100% DCI-P3 coverage along with HDR10+ certification. We can also see a peak brightness of 1300 nits. When it comes to software, the flagship smartphone runs on Android 11 OS with ColorOS 12 right out of the box.
On the processor front, the OnePlus 9RT specs include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. This octa-core flagship chipset pairs up with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of internal storage. There are two other variants for the device, an 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB one. In addition, the smartphone also gets 7GB of Dynamic RAM. This feature basically uses part of the internal storage as virtual RAM to further increase performance. The Snapdragon 888 is paired with the new Vapour Cooling design offers optimal temperatures and a seamless gaming experience.
In terms of the imaging department, the OnePlus 9RT features a triple-camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary main camera (Sony IMX766 sensor) that has OIS and EIS support. The 50MP camera is accompanied by a 16MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro camera. At the front, the smartphone sports a 16MP selfie camera. The device has an alert slider on the left side. For security purposes, the handset features an in-display fingerprint sensor.
OnePlus has provided dual stereo speakers on the OnePlus 9RT, along with Dolby Atmos support. The phone packs a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery that supports 65T Warp Charge fast charging. Besides, it measures 162.2×74.6×8.29mm and weighs 198.5 grams. Connectivity-wise the OnePlus 9RT has a dual-SIM card slot, 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C port, and NFC.
OnePlus 9RT 5G Pricing and Availability
OnePlus 9RT price has been set at CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 38,600) for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 40,900) for the 8GB + 256GB model. The phone also comes in the top-of-the-line 12GB + 256GB option that is priced at CNY 3,799 (roughly Rs. 44,400). The OnePlus 9RT will go on sale in China starting October 19 and will be available with a CNY 100 (roughly Rs. 1,200) discount on the first sale day.
When it comes to the availability of the device, it has been launched only in China for now. However, the smartphone is expected to make its way to India soon. The smartphone also comes in Silver and Matte Black colour options.
