[OnePlus](https://www.oneplus.in/) is going big with the 15s. While the 6.32-inch flat display format stays identical, nearly everything underneath has been meaningfully upgraded — and the jump from 13s to 15s might be one of the more substantial “s-series” leaps we’ve seen from the brand in years.

## What Actually Makes the 15s Worth Upgrading To

The battery story alone is remarkable. Going from 5850mAh to **7500mAh** is a massive leap — paired with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, this is the kind of setup that makes battery anxiety genuinely disappear. The addition of wireless charging is also a first for this line, and a long-overdue one.

The camera upgrade is equally significant. A 3.5x optical telephoto replacing the 2x unit, combined with 120x max zoom versus the 13s’s 50x, puts the 15s in a different league for mobile photography at this price point. The main sensor stays the same — so close-range shots won’t look dramatically different — but reach and versatility improve considerably.

The **IP68/IP69** rating replacing IP65 is a quiet but important upgrade for everyday durability, and the switch from optical to **ultrasonic fingerprint scanner** means faster, more reliable unlocks — especially with wet fingers. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and UFS 4.1 storage round out a package that feels genuinely future-proofed.

Slimmer bezels and that neon colour option make this one of the sharper-looking compact Android flagships in a while. If you’re on a 13s, this is a rare case where the upgrade actually makes sense.
