OnePlus recently announced the launch of its OnePlus 13 flagship phone in China on October 31. At the time, it announced the design and color options of that device as well: Obsidian Black, White Dawn, and Blue Moment. Shortly before it could go on sale, the YouTube channel Sparrows News published an unboxing video that gave us a complete look at the OnePlus 13.

More About the leaked OnePlus 13

The OnePlus 13 is currently planned only for China, and so the unboxing video pertains to its Chinese configuration. It has been packaged up in your classic OnePlus red box with the number 13 embossed on one side, much like all previous versions of this flagship. The design matches what has been teased, and although the Chinese version runs ColorOS, the Indian model is expected to launch with OxygenOS. The video also teases brand-new iPhone-like dynamic bars, plus theme customization.

The OnePlus 13 features a sleek design, including a micro-quad-curved display on the front and a circular camera module on the back. This camera module is also a lot more pronounced than it has been on previous models and the edges no longer taper into the frame. The three lenses and the LED flash are placed in a square fashion at one side, surrounded by a metal ring that increases its elegant appearance.

One of the standout features of the OnePlus 13 is its ability to maintain stable performance, thanks to the upgraded second-generation TianGong Pro-level cooling system, designed for continuous high-power operation. It is also said to come with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset from Qualcomm featuring Oryon cores which might offer better performance and multitasking, gaming as well demanding tasks.

We would also expect strong battery performance, with some rumors suggesting an upgrade to a 6000mAh cell compared to the Oneplus 12’s 5400 mAh. It should also support 100W wired charging and up to 50W wireless charging, allowing for quick power-ups with minimal downtime.

Additionally, OnePlus has revealed camera details, confirming a Hasselblad-branded triple rear camera system. The setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 main sensor, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field of view. The device will use the same image algorithm as the Oppo Find X8 series, with camera samples already shared to showcase its capabilities.

An unboxing video on Weibo showed the OnePlus 13 packaged in a red rectangular box, featuring a flat screen with narrow bezels. Meanwhile, a leak by X user Tech Home (@TechHome100) suggests the phone will be priced at CNY 4,699 (roughly ₹55,000), which is CNY 400 more than the OnePlus 12. The OnePlus 13 will ship with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, offer up to 24GB of RAM, and support up to 1TB of storage. It will also include magnetic wireless charging support.
