The OnePlus 10T has started receiving an OTA update in India that adds Jio 5G support. The 10T was launched in August powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and is positioned between the OnePlus 10R and the OnePlus 10 Pro. OnePlus is rolling out the latest OxygenOS 12 A. 10 update which brings the October security patch and a couple of system fixes to the 10T.
OnePlus 10T 5G Gets Jio 5G Support
The latest update for the 10T comes with firmware version CPH2413_11.A.10 and brings Jio 5G support to the device. Alongside the Jio 5G support, the update also brings the latest October 2022 Android security patch to the device. The latest OxygenOS updates Android security patch to 2022.10 and optimizes the performance scheduling and improves system fluency.
OnePlus 10T is already compatible with the AirTel 5G Plus. The latest update brings Jio 5G support to the device. This means that OnePlus 10T users can now enjoy 5G services in case their telecom operator is offering 5G service in their city.
The company says it has optimized the screen display effect as well as WiFi stability. So, users must experience better communication stability. The brand has also optimized performance scheduling and has improved system fluency. The company claims to have fixed the occasional crashes that users encountered in some scenarios.
The 10T 5G A.12 update is available only in India as of now. Company says that the OTA roll out is incremental, so it has been rolled out to a limited percentage of users as of now. The brand aims to begin a broader roll out in the coming days. The 10T 5G comes in three storage configurations — a base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant that is priced at Rs. 49,999, a 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant valued at Rs. 54,999, and a 16GB RAM + 256GB storage variant that goes for Rs. 55,999.
