The smartphone giant OnePlus isn’t just stopping with the OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus Nord CE2 5G launch in India as it now plans to launch the new OnePlus 10R 5G flagship Android device in India. The design of the smartphone is almost revealed in the teaser image and some specs of it have been announced as well.
Even though we heard a lot of rumours about this OnePlus 10R 5G launching in the Chinese market but it ultimately didn’t happen. As we know, the OnePlus is very popular in India as a premium Android maker now and the 10R will be more in line with the budget which Indians love.
OnePlus 10R 5G Expected Specifications
We know the OnePlus 10 Pro is its ultimate flagship smartphone and has got a good response in India, so continuing its momentum, Pete Lau’s company is keen on bringing this new OnePlus 10R 5G with a fresh design to India. As we see in the teaser image, this new smartphone borrows the same camera design you have seen on its Nord lineup in line with the Oppo smartphones.
However, the traditional OnePlus design seems to be gone, you have a more sleek, Oppo-smartphone like design with flat edges. While from the camera cut-out we see there are stripes on the bottom of the device and yes, it is a fresh design from OnePlus after ages now.
Among the key highlights here with the teaser, the use of the new 150W SuperVOOC charging has been bragged quite a lot by OnePlus because it will be the first OnePlus device to offer the same. The current flagship OnePlus 10 Pro comes with 80W SuperVOOC charging and now with 150W charging, one can expect to charge the smartphone within minutes.
Also, we will see a hole-punch display but this time it will be in the centre, falling in line with our previous leak and it seems that OnePlus could retain its 120Hz refresh AMOLED display on the OnePlus 10R 5G as well. Last but not the least, as per widespread rumours, OnePlus will be opting for MediaTek chipsets and we could expect a Dimensity 9000 series chipset to be coming on this device.
Well, these are some of the assumptions and guesses but we are sure OnePlus will be keen to reveal each of the specs soon as there are only 2 weeks left for launch.
