The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will officially go on sale on January 5 around the world. After the 12T Pro, this is the only Redmi with a 200MP camera in the Xiaomi family.
While not providing a specific date, Xiaomi hinted last week that the Redmi Note 12 series would soon be available in India. It’s also unclear which models will attend; while the Redmi Note 12 and Redmi Note 12 Pro have not officially confirmed their attendance, the Pro+ is unquestionably on the list. The Redmi Note 12 Discovery, a Pro+ model with 210W charging, is another option, but it might continue to be available only in China.
Xiaomi’s Redmi Note line has achieved great success. 72 million of the 300 million units shipped—or over half—went to India. Anyhow, the new models will undoubtedly increase the total, but we will need to wait a few weeks before learning information like costs and shipment dates. A phased rollout is conceivable; the Note 11 series had a phased release earlier this year.
Redmi Note 12 Pro+ pricing
On January 26, the Redmi Note 11 series was released in every country, with the Note 11S costing $250 and the base model starting at $180. Following in mid-February at prices of $300 and $330, respectively, were the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro 5G.
