Arsenal and Manchester City have reached an agreement over the transfer of Oleksandr Zinchenko. The North London side will be paying a transfer fee worth £30 million for the Ukrainian, and are now going to discuss personal terms with him for the transfer.

The Premier League champions have identified Marc Cucurella as the priority signing in left-back. Despite the player joining Brighton only last summer, they are planning to submit an official bid for him in the coming days.

Just like Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko could reunite with Mikel Arteta at the Emirates Stadium. The Spaniard was the previous assistant of Pep Guardiola and he knows the player well from their time together.

And now, he could be on his way to work with Arteta again. The salary and the length of the contract are yet to be finalised. These two details are important for the deal to go through. And once they have been agreed upon, there are few obstructions to the transfer.

The city has signed Erling Haaland as the replacement for Gabriel Jesus and has also recruited Julian Alvarez, who will be staying with the squad. Zack Steffen has also moved out, with Stefan Ortega arriving as the new second-choice keeper.

Arsenal has also been very active in the market, signing Fabio Vieira, Marquinhos, and Gabriel Jesus. And now, they could sign a versatile new player in Zinchenko, who can play across a variety of positions.
