The transition period of Manchester United will continue in the January transfer window as well. Since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge of Manchester United, the performance of the club has gradually increased. Manchester United are now joint leaders of The Premier League.

Ole has released some players to go who were underperforming or not willing to play for the club. As per some reports, the same will happen to some of the players in the January transfer window. Solskjaer confirmed, “We’re always working long-term – that’s the big thing. We have targets we need, long-term, for the club.”

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to release some of the players to make room for more signings at the end of this season.

Sergio Romero will surely leave the club this January. He wanted to leave the club last summer. But the deal has not gone through that time. Phil Jones may also leave the club this January. The English defender can leave the club this winter.

Jesse Lingard has struggled poorly in the last two seasons. He has only started two Carabao Cup games and has not played a single minute in either the Premier League or Champions League. He also may be loaned out.

The young defender Brandon Williams may also move to Southampton in a loan move. The Athletic reported, ‘Southampton are one of several clubs paying close attention to Brandon Williams’ situation. The defender was open to a loan move to St Mary’s in the summer transfer window to get regular games but that deal was blocked by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who assured Williams that he was part of his plans for the season.’

Multiple clubs are also interested in Marcos Rojo. Fenerbahce is considering a move for the Argentine defender. Daniel James may also leave this January. He has got very little game time this season. The arrival of Amad Diallo will decrease his chances further.
