Universal Pictures had dropped the latest trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s coming thriller Old at the beginning of the month. This story of the film has been inspired by the French graphic novel sandcastle, which is written by Pierre Oscar Levy and Frederik Peeters.
Shyamalan will return to his director’s chair by holding the hand of this film since 2019’s Glass. It is featuring a conceit that will put some horrifying cast twist on the real fear of ageing.
The plot of the film has already been teased by the filmmaker with a set of photos and also a first trailer that has been aired at the time of the Super Bowl.
Plot
This film will show how a family vacation becomes surreal. It depicts a tidal pool near the small beach on the coast of France’s Mediterranean. There is a North-African-looking guy who has glimpsed a teen woman who is stripping to swim.
It is a little late but still was early in the morning, there are their families who are intending on sunbathing and also picnicking that encounter the man, after that they find the corpse of the girl in the pool.
The one paterfamilias and a racist, xenophobic physician has angrily blamed the North-African for the murder and calls the police.
During the time of awaiting the police, the mother of the Doctor become dies. Now the young children of the two families begin growing, and in between them, the little ones wear out their swimsuits and pretending to puberty. Some changes also have seen in the adult as they attempt to leave the area proving futile, and calls don’t go through.
At the rate of ageing, they will become dead by tomorrow morning. Peeters also accomplished the European comics realist style and also natural dialogue of Levy that suit to the tee which ultimately eerie.

This film is mainly the production of Blinding Edge Pictures. Shyamalan directs and produces the film, but it has also been produced by Ashwin Rajan and Marc Bien stock. The executive producer of the film is Steven Scheider.

It is stated that Old will release theatrically on 23rd July 2021.
