During this holiday season, the Ola Electric scooter appears to be aiming to increase sales and viewership. To that aim, the ride-hailing firm turned producer of electric vehicles has declared that it will extend the festive discount of 10,000 on the Ola S1 e-scooter until Diwali.
Bhavish Aggarwal, the CEO of Ola Electric, tweeted this information along with the phrase: “Your favourite time of the year just got better! Enjoy a flat Rs. 10,000 discount on the Ola S1 Pro while taking advantage of Ola’s holiday special.
With a 3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the new Ola S1 electric scooter is said to have a riding range of 141 km on a single charge, while the S1 Pro has a bigger 4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and is said to have an ARAI-certified riding range of 181 km on a single charge. Both electric scooters come equipped with a hyperdrive motor that produces 11.3 horsepower and 58 Nm of maximum torque.
The S1 Pro’s highest speed is 116 kmph, compared to the Ola S1’s 95 kmph top speed in terms of performance. According to Ola Electric, a standard charger can charge the S1 to capacity in 4.5 hours, while the S1 Pro takes 6.5 hours. Each of them receives a touchscreen console with a 7.0-inch display that runs Ola’s Move OS 2.0 operating system and displays a wealth of data.
