Ola Electric S1 scooter Diwali Sale

Ola Electric is the latest two-wheeler company to join the seasonal sale craze. The Indian electric scooter company has shown previously unheard-of savings on their selection of scooters. The “Boss sale” was revealed by CEO Bhavish Aggarwal on the microblogging site X (formerly known as Twitter). Ola Electric is going through a difficult period right now because sales have been declining significantly over the last few months.

What to expect from the Ola Electric sale?

The offer, which began on October 3rd, has been billed by the Indian two-wheeler EV manufacturer as the “Biggest Ola Season Sale.” At Rs 49,999, the entry-level S1 X EV scooter is almost Rs 25,000 less expensive than its MSRP. The discount package, which could be based on the recently launched PM E-Drive effort to promote reasonably priced and environmentally friendly electric vehicles, includes a regular Rs 10,000 reduction throughout the range. Additional rebates consist of an exchange incentive, smart technology access, an eight-year warranty extension, and fast charging credits.

Ola Electric is still running a Referral Program wherein owners of S1 scooters can recommend friends to purchase an Ola EV and receive Rs 3,000 in exchange. However, the new customer receives a discount offer of Rs 2000.

Customers’ trust in Ola Electric is waning

Horror stories about Ola Electric’s after-service work have made customers wary of purchasing its items. Based on September sales, the company’s market share decreased to about 27%. During the first seven months of the year, Ola Electric sold a record number of devices, reaching a peak of 40,814 in July.

Following that, the company’s sales have been steadily declining; in August and September, it only sold 26,928 and 23,965 units, respectively. By the end of the year, the company plans to have 1000 service outlets in its network.
