UEFA has finally announced the Men’s Team of the Year 2020 after almost 6 billion votes were casted for choosing the final team.
Last year, German side Bayern Munich won the continental treble including the UEFA Champions League, Bundesliga and the German Super Cup. It is quite obvious that the UEFA Men’s Team of the Year 2020 would be filled mostly by Bayern players. They have 5 players in the TOTY.
The UEFA Men’s Team of the Year 2020:
- GK – Manuel Neuer (FC Bayern München & Germany)
- RB – Joshua Kimmich (FC Bayern München & Germany)
- CB – Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid CF & Spain)
- CB – Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool FC & Netherlands)
- LB – Alphonso Davies (FC Bayern München & Canada)
- CM – Thiago Alcántara (FC Bayern München/Liverpool FC & Spain)
- CM – Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City FC & Belgium)
- RW – Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus & Portugal)
- CAM – Lionel Messi (FC Barcelona & Argentina)
- LW – Neymar (Paris Saint-Germain & Brazil)
- ST – Robert Lewandowski (FC Bayern München & Poland)
The front four of Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar and Lewandowski is definitely the best attacking four of the last few years with Ramos and Van Dijk pairing up in defence to inflict fear on any opponent.
