Official: Oppo Fine X3 series will arrive soon with a new Colour technology

A piece of good news is coming out from Oppo, as Oppo is going to launch Oppo Find X3 in 2021. This news is confirmed by the company at its Inno days 2020 conference. According to the company official, Oppo is going to launch a new technology- Full Path Colour Management System, which will make its debut with the Oppo Find X3 series.

The Oppo X3 series will be debuted with Oppo’s new technology, Full Path Colour Management System- ‘Full Path’ means that the system covers everything from capturing pictures. It will deliver ‘an outstanding viewing experience’ and also bring ‘authentic and accurate colour reproduction’. The system will also support High-Efficiency Image Format(HEIF) which will optimize the storage capacity. The HEIF will also support- 10-bit colour depth, and DCI P3 wide colour gamut with D65 white point.

The company revealed that its R&D team worked colour by improving the underlying system and hardware. The company also reveals the steps of its new system, which includes- image acquisition to computation, encoding, storage, and decoding.

The R&D team also promoted algorithms in areas such as distortion correction, multi-frame noise reduction, perceptual extreme super-resolution. According to the company official, the new system will also support Digital Overlap(DOL) HDR mode for image sensors featuring and it will also synthesize different exposure conditions into the image- which should improve image result even when the image is captured in bright light.

Oppo has also revealed a new colour correction solution-Colour Correction Solution 2.0, this solution will help those who suffer from colour version deficiency and there will be a wide range of options to suit their visual needs. By using this Solution, users can create their own display.

This system will be featured in Oppo’s upcoming flagship series- Oppo Find X3, which will be introduced next year.
