“It is amazing to be sitting here as a Chelsea player,’ said Dewsbury-Hall. ‘This is a club people grow up watching and hoping to one day play for, so it is a privilege to be here. I’m really excited to get going and can’t wait to show everybody what I can do.”
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was named the Supporters and Players’ Player of the Season in the Championship this past season. The midfielder scored 12 goals and provided 14 assists in 44 games to help the Foxes finish at the top of the table, and will now play for one of the biggest clubs in England.
However, he will face a lot of competition for a spot in the starting line-up as Conor Gallagher, Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo, Cesare Casadei, Romeo Lavia, Lesley Ugochukwu, Carney Chukwuemeka and Cole Palmer are all competing for game time in the midfield positions.
