Kerala Blasters have parted ways with their head coach, Ivan Vukomanovic, after a three-year spell. The decision has been officially confirmed by the club, and they are now in the process of finding a new name to take charge of their first team from next season.
Under Vukomanovic, the Blasters qualified for the playoffs for three straight seasons, and finished as runners up in the ISL Cup. They have established themselves as a top team in the Indian top flight and perhaps the change in guard is a sign of higher ambition for the club.

“Coach Ivan Vukomanovic’s influence on the team development over the past three years has been truly invaluable. Working alongside him has been both a privilege and a pleasure. I’m immensely grateful for his contributions to Kerala Blasters FC, and I wish him all the best in all his future pursuits,” Sporting Director Karolis Skinkys told the club’s official website.
Kerala Blasters registered their highest ever points tally under Vukomanovic, and he leaves the club as the most successful coach in their history.
Manolo Marquez has been linked as one of the options to become the new head coach next season. Alongside him, a transfer for Noah Sadaoui has also been rumoured. A confirmation can be expected once the season ends on May 5.
