“Hello to the entire Yellow Army, thank you for this warm welcome, I have rarely experienced this in my career, I can’t wait to vibrate with you on the ground, see you soon,” the defender told the club’s official website.
The 32-year-old will not join the squad for their preseason camp immediately, as he has requested some time due to personal reasons. As a result, he might miss the group stage of the Durand Cup, which will begin in just a few days.
However, he will certainly be available for the start of the ISL season, provided there are no unfortunate injuries.
Since the Frenchman can play as a defensive midfielder as well as a right-back, it will be interesting to see where he ends up playing in the end. If he plays in midfield, he could be a direct replacement for Jeakson Singh, who recently completed a record transfer to East Bengal.
