Amrinder Singh has signed for Odisha FC in the ISL, after leaving ATK Mohun Bagan. The player has signed a deal until the end of the 22/23 season. He is expected to be the first choice keeper for them in the coming year, when football resumes in India.

The 29-year-old previously featured for Mumbai City FC in 20/21, helping them win the domestic double. In that season, he kept 10 clean sheets in 23 games, and was the standout performer between the sticks in the entire division.

“I am very pleased to have signed up for Odisha FC. After deliberating over various options, I feel the project Odisha FC as a club has envisioned is the one that matches my ambition and commitment.

“The club has built a young and enterprising team, and under a coach like Josep Gombau, I am sure we can achieve the goals set for the season. Odisha FC as a club and the state of Odisha is ready to take the next step in Indian football, and I am privileged to be given a chance to play my part in this,” Amrinder Singh said on signing for his new club.

Entering his peak years, he is expected to be a very important part of the team in the coming season and could help Odisha do much better than last year.
