MechRevo, a Chinese laptop manufacturer, recently disclosed benchmark results for NVIDIA’s upcoming GeForce RTX 2050 laptop GPU, indicating that NVIDIA’s new design is more efficient than comparable GPUs.

Together with the 3DMark Fire Strike benchmark testing, MechRevo benchmark tests reveal an intriguing finding of NVIDIA’s underpowered laptop GPU. According to the current data, the RTX 2050 is 23% more efficient than the previous GeForce GTX 1650 and 134 per cent faster than the NVIDIA MX450. Compared to the company’s GeForce MX570, the RTX 2050 comes close to matching it. The NVIDIA MX570 is a low-power discrete GPU designed for thin and light notebooks.

The dedicated ray tracing and AI cores in NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20 series graphics cards and laptops deliver tremendous performance and cutting-edge functionality. GeForce RTX laptops are the ultimate gaming powerhouses, providing the quickest performance and most realistic visuals in ultra-thin designs. On the most demanding games and creative projects, unleash the power of AI-powered DLSS and real-time ray tracing.

Joining the lineup of GeForce RTX 20 series laptops is the GeForce RTX 2050. These new laptops feature RT Cores, Tensor Cores, and NVIDIA Encoder to enable our suite of features, including ray tracing, DLSS, Reflex, and Broadcast, among others. The RTX 2050 also works seamlessly with Optimus technology to give you the perfect balance between long battery life and optimum performance.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 features an Ampere GPU with 2048 CUDA cores. The NVIDIA GeForce MX570 and RTX 3050 GPUs have the same design. The main distinction is the memory size and bus width, which are limited to 2GB and 64 bits, respectively. The card’s restrictions are caused by its lack of memory and bus size.

MechRevo also provided video encoding efficiency results for FullHD and UltraHD screen resolutions. Surprisingly, Intel Xe graphics, which have 96 Execution Units, perform poorly in all Chinese laptop manufacturers’ encoding tests.
