The graphics card giant launched its RTX 30-series GPUs for laptops for quite some time now and it plans to launch the “Super” variants of these GPUs as early as next year. However, we do not know exactly when NVIDIA will launch the desktop “Super” GPUs, but not anytime soon.
Considering the stock situation of the GPUs, it will take this entire year to manage the situation but the leaker @greymon55 claims that NVIDIA will launch its SUPER RTX 30 series next year.
So, this corelates with the leak from Lenovo and so, next year we could expect new NVIDIA GPUs getting announced. In a leaked laptop roadmap from Lenovo featuring a ThinkPad X1 Extreme G4 gaming laptop, we saw this laptop getting equipped with RTX 3070 SUPER or RTX 3080 SUPER graphics cards.
Obviously, its very early to know the specs of the upcoming RTX 30-series Super GPUs, however, it seems that RTX 30 SUPER will be retaining VRAM sizes as GA104 based models, either 8GB or 16GB of GDDR6 memory. It is still early to be guessing with these rumours so take this with a pinch of salt but would be glad if the rumours comes out true.
