We already know that Nvidia is working on intermediary cards for its RTX 3000 series. The company was supposed to launch the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. But now it seems that the manufacturer of the graphics has reportedly canceled the plans of releasing the RTX 3070 Ti.
On the other hand, the RTX 3080 Ti’s rumored specs have been leaked yet again, and this time, the details are incredibly juicy. The leaker, who goes by the name of kopite7kimi, has provided the supposed leak regarding the 3080 Ti.
According to sources, the RTX 3080 Ti will use a GA102-250-KD-A1 GPU, whose performance lies between the GeForce RTX 3090’s GA102-300-KD-A1 and the GeForce RTX 3080’s GA102-200-KD-A1.
The RTX 3080 Ti will be coming with 10,496 CUDA cores, similar to that of GeForce RTX 3090. It is quite suspicious that a few weeks ago, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti was rumored to feature 9,984 CUDA cores.
The card will also have 320W TGP, which is similar to that of the GeForce RTX 3080. Finally, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti will come with 20GB of GDDR6X RAM, which is expected to run at 19GB/s. the card is rumored to have a 320-bit bus interface, which means its total bandwidth at 760GB/s. apart from all these specs, however, the graphics card’s clock speeds are not yet known.
As of now, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti has no release date. But the company’s GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is supposed to be unveiled on 2nd December. The supposed specs of RTX 3080 Ti places the card as a viable option for buyers. The rumors suggest that the card offers medium specs at best.
