NVIDIA recently teased about their upcoming “Super” graphics cards and now we have some potential leaks about the upcoming GPUs. Basically, these GPUs will not be special ones with huge performance increase or architectural improvements.

According to leaks, these new Super RTX GPUs will get a bump in the core count and the RTX 2080 will too get faster 16GB/s GDDR6 memory.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super

The RTX 2060 Super will get a healthy boost in the number of cores, increasing to 2176 Cores from 1920 Cores originally. Also, the leaks suggest that this “Super” GPU will have 8GB of memory that means an upgraded 256-bit bus architecture.

This means that the new RTX 2060S might be up to 30% faster than its predecessor that was announced back at CES 2019.

The RTX 2070 Super might end up with the same 2560 shaders, but we expect this new GPU to come with higher clock speeds while the memory remains unchanged.

This beast GPU will get another upgrade as the so-called “Super” version might end up coming with 3072 Cores, enabling the entire TU104 die.

Also as already told, it will get faster 16GB/s GDDR6 memory. This as a whole will drastically increase GPU performance by 20-25%.

Well, the good news remains that these new GPUs will have the same pricing as their last gen models and the older ones may get a $50-100 price cut.

NVIDIA may launch these cards at E3 which is starting this June 11th and make them available in July to challenge AMD’s Navi GPUs.
