The new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti laptop GPU has a decent gaming performance

NVIDIA has already announced the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti laptop GPU at CES 2022, however, we are yet to see it in action in the upcoming gaming laptops. So, we exactly do not have any idea of the performance of this new flagship laptop GPU.

Thanks to HardwareCanucks, who have posted a new video citing the performance of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti laptop GPU, though this is not any review, rather a video sponsored by NVIDIA, so you cannot trust the numbers blindly.

HardwareCanucks did provide the 1440p gaming benchmarks of recent games like Watch Dogs, Metro Exodus, Doom: Eternal, and COD Vanguard, all of them are NVIDIA friendly games though.

As you see in 1440p, in all of these games, the RTX 3080 Ti laptop GPU has substantial improvement over the RTX 2080 Super compared against. With even ray tracing enabled the GPU gave great frame rates, over 100 in games that are well-optimized.

When DLSS is on, for all four games at highest settings and with ray tracing on, you see great improvements over prior gen. However, we do expect these gaming laptops will not be cheaper but even in productivity benchmarks, it’s clear that the newer RTX 3080 Ti based on Ampere architecture and faster VRAM does make a difference.
