NVIDIA is yet to officially introduce its most affordable RTX 30-series GPU or the RTX 3050 Ti that has been confirmed to ship on Samsung’s latest Odessey gaming notebook. Both the RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti are pretty significant because they will offer gamers with an entry-level option who are comfortable playing at 1080p.

Considering the market scarcity of GPUs, the more, the better for the consumers, so if NVIDIA brings their entry-level RTX 30-series GPUs, that would be great. It is also expected that NVIDIA will launch RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3080 Ti soon, and so an official announcement for the RTX 3050 series is expected soon.

However, someone has anonymously submitted the RTX 3050 Ti laptop GPU to the GPU-Z validation database and confirmed the usage of the GA107 graphics processor. It is said that both RTX 3050 Ti and RTX 3050 non-Ti will be based on the same GPU but has not yet been seen on the desktop line of cards.

As for the specs, the RTX 3050 Ti mobile GPU comes with a boost clock of 1485 MHz and the memory clock of 1500 MHz. It features a 128-bit bus and uses 4GB GDDR6 memory, and so the bandwidth can automatically be calculated at 192 GB/s.

According to the validation, the GPU offers 32 ROPs. As pointed out by Videocardz, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 series for laptops is expected to debut on May 11th, the same date when Intel will officially announce the launch of their 11th Gen Core H-series or Tiger Lake-H processors for laptops.
