NVIDIA and AMD GPU prices continue to rise despite the effort to restore the supply chain

According to a recent report submitted by 3DCenter who continuously monitors the rise and drop of GPU prices in the market gives us some unfortunate news this time. According to the report, the GPU prices from Germany and Austria doesn’t bring us any good news to bet out money on and the pricing details of both NVIDIA and AMD are disheartening.

However, the report is based only on cards released until March, so SKUs such as Radeon RX 6600 series or GeForce RTX 3070Ti/3080Ti are not included in the graph.

The report states that AMD RDNA2 GPUs is twice as expensive as MSRP which is at 101%, while select NVIDIA RTX 30 models are reaching an 88% increase over their MSRP, which is 16 percentage points higher than October 10 listing.

3DCenter also stated that the current market situation is far from healthy and also that some cut-down models such as Radeon RX 6800 and RX 6800 XT can be found at prices higher than the flagship RX 6900 XT. There are also NVIDIA models such as GeForce RTX 3070 Ti which are being sold at ridiculous prices such as above 2000 EUR and GeForce RTX 3090 for as much as 4029 EUR.
