Nubia has officially confirmed that the Z70 Ultra will be launched in China next week. Apart from that, the subsidiary of ZTE has also revealed the first official front look of the phone. The Z70 Ultra will feature a 6.85-inch BOE screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz, while also managing an impressive 95.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. It has also been confirmed to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.

Nubia Z70 Ultra Launching November 21, Snapdragon 8 Elite, 6.85-inch 144Hz Display

As per the Weibo account of Nubia, the Z70 Ultra will be launched on November 21 at 2 PM (11:30 AM IST). The firm took to the platform to share an image of the phone, showcasing its front with very thin bezels. We also see that there will be no notch or punch hole for the selfie camera on this display.

Nubia Z70 Ultra display specification confirmation would offer a 6.85-inch 1.5K resolution display with the same 144Hz refresh rate and the same 95.3% screen-to-body ratio. The panel will be manufactured by BOE, with a 2,000 nits peak brightness and a pixel density of around 430 ppi. The bezels are expected to be 1.25mm thin. The phone will also feature an under-display camera using the new AI Transparent Algorithm 7.0 tech. The Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC is what will power the device, which runs on Nubia’s Nebula AIOS. Expected to provide enhancements with respect to final year’s Nubia Z60 Ultra.

By way of context, Nubia launched the Nubia Z60 Ultra in December last year starting from $599 (approx ₹49,000) for the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The device came with a 6.8-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and was armed with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, up to the latest 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Camera-wise, the Z60 Ultra featured a 50MP Sony IMX800 sensor, a 50MP wide-angle shooter, and a 64MP telephoto lens. It featured a 12MP under-display selfie camera, too, in addition to a 6,000mAh battery.
