As you can see, the machine is upgraded from the regular version of Nubia Z40S Pro, the specific point of the upgrade is the entire exterior part of the machine, adding Van Gogh’s classic “Starry Night” color scheme, even if you are not familiar with Van Gogh should have seen similar patterns elsewhere.

The phone is expected to have a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 144Hz, a touch sampling rate of 480Hz, and a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits. It will be run by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which will be paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The main camera on the phone will be a Sony IMX787 with a 35mm lens, 64 megapixels, an aperture of f/1.6, and OIS support. It has an ultra-wide lens with 50 megapixels and a periscope telephoto camera with 8 megapixels. The device will have a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls.

It will come with the Android 12 operating system already installed and the company’s MyOS 12 interface on top of that. The device is likely to have a 5,000mAh battery and support fast charging at 80W or 120W. Nubia has announced that its new Z40S Pro Starry Night Edition devices will go on sale November 5, 2022 in China. Unfortunately, the price has not yet been disclosed.
