Nubia Red Magic 7S Pro launched internationally

Nubia’s belligerent upgrade cycle for its Red Magic gaming phones is clearly working, with the company already moving towards its third and fourth handsets of 2022 so far. Earlier this month, Nubia’s gaming-focused sub-brand Red Magic launched the Red Magic 7S series of smartphones in China. The series comprises of the Red Magic 7S and the Red Magic 7S Pro smartphones. Now, the company has launched the Red Magic 7S Pro all over the world.

They officially launched the Red Magic 7S and 7S Pro in China on the 11th of July, where the smartphones went on sale on the 15th of July. The Red Magic 7 Series was the first time two phones from the same generation got a worldwide launch, so there’s a chance the 7S will remain special to China.

Nubia’s Red Magic 7S Pro: Specifications and features

It features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display but with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is armed with Red Magic x Qualcomm LTM dimming technology.

The 7S Pro is charged by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, combined with the company’s exclusive Red Core 1 which is a devoted gaming chipset for improving the performance of the device. The smartphone comes with a developed Ice 10.0 cooling system. It has a 5,000mAh battery unit with 135W rapid charging and comes with a 165W gallium nitride charging brick in the box. The smartphone runs Red Magic 5.0 based on Android 12.

It has a 64MP main camera along with an 8MP broad-angle lens and a 2MP huge lens along with an LED torch. On the front, the device has a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

Red Magic 7S Pro: Pricing and availability

The Redmagic 7S Pro is priced at €779/£669/$729 for the 12 GB RAM + 256GB storage model (Obsidian color). The 18GB RAM + 512GB configuration is priced at €949/£809/$899 (Supernova and Mercury color options). Pre-orders for the device will commence from 2nd of August and shipments will begin on 9th of August.
