Nubia Flip was unveiled for the first time at MWC 2024 in the first half of this year. Today, following the official release date and cost announcement, the business fully launched the clamshell phone. A phone with a vinyl record look, the handset unfolds to a mere 7.0mm thickness, thanks to Waterdrop Hinges and sturdy steel materials. The Nubia Flip is further powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, a 50MP major camera, and 33W quick charging.

Speaking of which, the Nubia Flip has been priced at $499 for the 8GB/256GB model and $699 for the 12GB/512GB configuration. In China, the 8GB/256GB model costs RMB 2999 and the 12/256GB edition will be available for RMB 3299, whereas RMB 3699 will be charged for the 12/512GB model. The Cosmic Black, Sunshine Gold, and Flowing Lilac are the colors from which the consumer may choose. Available for pre-order on the Nubia website, the in-situation sales will begin on April 23, except for the EU and UK.
The Nubia Flip is equipped with a 6.9-inch FHD+ foldable AMOLED display that provides a refresh rate of 120Hz. It has an external 1.43-inch OLED screen. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 gen 1 SoC powers the phone, which includes an Adreno 644 GPU, up to 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. It features a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 16MP selfie and video calling camera. The phone is powered by a 4310mAh battery with 33W fast charging and includes Wi-Fi 802.11, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and USB Type-C connectivity.
Running on Android 13-based MyOS 13 custom skin, the Nubia Flip boasts dual speakers, DTS:X, and Snapdragon sound technology. It features a Durable Hinge and Flexible Screen tested for over 200,000 folds, along with a 3D virtual pet for interactive fun, dual unlocking methods (fingerprint and face unlock), and weighs 209 grams.
