Barcelona are heavily interested in four free agents this summer, and one of them is Ajax’s Noussair Mazraoui. The right-back has made no secret about the fact that he is waiting on a new chapter in his career.
The Spanish giants are the ones most interested in him, and have prepared their starting offer for the player. His agent, Mino Raiola, is in talks with other clubs as well, but Barcelona are ahead in the race for the time being.
Noussair Mazraoui on the verge of joining Barcelona
The right-back is among the most exciting talents in his position in Europe. And, the fact that he is out of a contract in the summer gives Barcelona the perfect opportunity to rebuild their defense without spending a lot of money on transfers.
Andreas Christensen is among the other players who is close to joining the Blaugrana alongside Cesar Azpilicueta and Franck Kessie.
AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund have also approached the player’s agent, but have not been able to convince him about a transfer just yet. Barcelona president Joan Laporta spoke to the player at the Golden Boy Awards ceremony, where Pedri was named the Golden Boy, and is close to the final agreement as a result.
Sergino Dest, the last right-back from Ajax to join Barcelona, didn’t have the best fortune at Camp Nou. And, fans will be hoping for a better return from Noussair Mazraoui when he eventually moves to Spain.
