Nottingham Forest have defeated Liverpool at Anfield, earning a narrow 1-0 win through a goal from Callum Hudson-Odoi. The hosts conceded their first goal of the season, and it ended up being their first defeat of the campaign as well.
On the other hand, it is certainly a massive three points for Forest, as they aim to build on surviving relegation last season to work their way higher up into the middle of the table.

Hudson-Odoi made an impact off the bench, after being introduced in the 54th minute. He took his chance really well to curl the ball past Alisson, in what would prove to be a vital goal.
Arne Slot did not beat around the bush in the post-match press conference, and pointed out that his side did not create enough while attacking. The Merseysiders couldn’t score from 14 shots on goal and seven corners, with Salah and Luis Diaz kept quiet almost throughout the game.
Anfield has long been a fortress, but a change of manager signals a change in fortune for Liverpool as well. It remains to be seen how they bounce back from this defeat as they travel to Milan on Tuesday for the start of the Champions League.
