Nottingham Forest agreed three new signings on Deadline Day to make it 27 new players during the 22/23 season. Yesterday, they confirmed the arrival of Keylor Navas from PSG on a loan deal alongside transfers for Jonjo Shelvey from Newcastle and Felipe from Atletico Madrid.
Three-time Champions League winner Navas has joined the club on a loan deal until the end of the season to provide cover for the injured Dean Henderson. The Costa Rican struggled for game time with Gianluigi Donnarumma emerging as the new number one. And now, he has made the move to England in search of more game time.

Felipe signed for the Tricky Trees after weeks of negotiations, and has finally been confirmed as a new player for them. He has signed a contract with the Premier League club until June 2024.
“It was a dream of mine to play in the Premier League and I’m really excited to be part of this wonderful, fast-growing club,” Felipe told Nottingham Forest’s official website.
“You can see it’s a club looking to really grow. It’s a big challenge for me and I made a clear decision to be part of the history here and grow with the club.”
On the other hand, Jonjo Shelvey joins after making very limited appearances for Newcastle United this season. The former Liverpool midfielder will be wearing the number 6 shirt at the club, and has signed a deal until the summer of 2025.
Nottingham Forest have also agreed transfers for Chris Wood from Newcastle United on a loan deal. On the other hand, Brazilians Danilon and Gustavo Scarpa from Palmeiras during the January transfer window as well.
