In benchmark tests, the Phone (4b) scored 1,088 in single-core and 3,155 in multi-core — a step below the Phone (4a)’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, but still more than capable for everyday multitasking, streaming, and casual gaming. [Memeburn](https://memeburn.com/nothing-phone-4b-specs-price/)

**Design — The Glyph Gets a Makeover**

One of the more visible changes is how Nothing has handled the Glyph interface. The multi-segment vertical Glyph panels from earlier phones are gone. In their place is a single horizontal Glyph Bar positioned just below the camera module — a design that first appeared on the Phone (3a) series. Nothing has already teased the Phone (4b) through official promotional material, with a sketch-style teaser video hinting that the device will continue the company’s signature transparent design language. **Why the 4b Exists**

Nothing recently confirmed it would not launch a new CMF smartphone in 2026, driven by rising RAM and storage costs. Co-founder Akis Evangelidis revealed that the company instead chose to introduce a new B Series under the main Nothing brand, designed to target a new segment while maintaining a clear hierarchy beneath the A Series lineup. This positions the Phone (4b) as a key entry point into the [Nothing](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nothing_(company)) ecosystem — the brand’s most accessible flagship-feeling device yet.
