The Nothing Phone 3a series is set to bring a number of “firsts” for the brand. The standard model will have a telephoto camera, and the Plus model will come with a periscope telephoto lens, according to rumors. That would certainly be an upgrade from today’s dual 50MP main and ultra-wide camera array. The higher-end Nothing Phone 1 and Phone 2 also don’t have a dedicated Zoom camera.

For the first time, the Phone 3a and 3a Plus will also support eSIM connectivity. For buyers, there’s the option for dual nano-SIM or eSIM + nano-SIM. It also appears that Nothing is moving from MediaTek processors in the Phone 2a series to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset for the successors. On the other hand, the CMF Phone 2 will reportedly continue with a MediaTek chip, dual nano-SIM connectivity, and no telephoto camera. The Nothing Phone 2a launched in March at a starting price of ₹23,999, while the Phone 2a Plus debuted in July with a starting price of ₹27,999.
