The much-anticipated smartphone, the Nothing Phone 2, manufactured by the technology startup Nothing, has recently received certification from the IMDA, bringing it closer to its official release. The news was initially shared on Twitter by well-known leaker Mukul Sharma, generating enthusiasm among tech enthusiasts and potential buyers.

As a prominent source of insider information in the industry, Mukul Sharma’s tweet confirmed the IMDA certification of the Nothing Phone 2, creating a buzz surrounding the upcoming device. Sharma’s consistent history of providing accurate leaks only intensifies the already high anticipation surrounding Nothing’s second smartphone release.

The certified device is associated with model number A065 and is expected to be marketed as the Nothing 5G Phone 2. Although the IMDA certification doesn’t reveal much about the phone’s specifications, leaked details suggest that the Nothing Phone 2 will be a flagship contender with impressive features.

Seamless User Experience is Anticipated as the Nothing Phone 2 Runs on Android 13 with Nothing OS 2.0. Under the hood, the device is rumored to be powered by a powerful octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, with clock speeds of 3.2 GHz for the single core, 2.75 GHz for the tri-core, and 2 GHz for the quad-core, complemented by 8 GB of RAM. It is anticipated that this combination will provide outstanding performance and seamless multitasking capabilities.

Rumors suggest that the Nothing Phone 2 will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a high pixel density of 393 PPI and a 120 Hz refresh rate, providing users with smooth scrolling and an enhanced visual experience.

Photography enthusiasts can look forward to the phone’s camera capabilities, as leaked specifications indicate a triple primary camera setup on the rear, consisting of three 50 MP sensors with an LED flash. On the front, the Nothing Phone 2 is anticipated to feature a 32 MP camera, promising excellent selfies and video call quality.

To ensure extended usage, the device is rumored to be equipped with a substantial 4,700 mAh battery, providing ample power throughout the day. Additionally, the phone is said to support fast charging through a USB Type-C port, enabling users to rapidly recharge the battery whenever necessary.
