Nothing Phone (2) model number leaked, launch in H2 2023

While Carl Pei’s new brand Nothing did leave an impact with its first smartphone Nothing Phone (1), his company also looks to launch its successor this year as well. Yes, you heard that right, the Nothing Phone (2) has been tipped exclusively by MySmartPrice that it will be launching in the second half of 2023.

Nothing Phone (2) model number leaked

Previously, Car Pei also confirmed that Phone (2) will also be making its way to the US as well but MySmartPrice has managed to get the info of model number A065 which this Nothing Phone (2) will have. If you closely notice this is aligned with the Nothing Phone (1) model number A063.

Nothing Phone (1) hardware issues reported by users

Pei even confirmed that his Phone (2) will be a premium offering than last year and could offer will offer a flagship-grade experience, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series chipset. Also, it speculated that the Phone (2) will have bigger 5000mAh battery life 12GB of RAM offering and 256GB storage options as well.

On the display front you will still see an AMOLED panel, kind of natural in 2023, but with a higher 120Hz refresh rate and will also have an adaptive display. The very successful Nothing Phone (1)’s successor Nothing Phone (2) is expected to make its debut this year and more details should be in front of you as we head towards the launch.

Have spotted the Nothing NT02 battery on the Indian BIS. For reference, Nothing NT01 was the battery used in the Nothing Phone (1), so, in all likelihood, this could be the Nothing Phone (2) battery.

UPDATE: Nothing Phone (2) battery spotted on BIS

Mukul Sharma has also spotted the Phone (2)’s battery on BIS, so, it makes sense Nothing is gearing up for a launch by 2023 and that obviously includes India as well.
