Nothing Phone 2 Specifications

Ahead of its July launch, Nothing has announced that the Phone 2 will be manufactured in India specifically to cater to the demands of the Indian market. Manu Sharma, VP and GM of Nothing India expressed pride in the company’s commitment to local consumers and their preferences. He highlighted the advanced manufacturing processes and precision engineering required for the iconic transparent design of Nothing smartphones, which have contributed to the enhancement of smartphone manufacturing capabilities in India.

Nothing has also revealed its sustainability approach for the Phone 2. The device will have a lower carbon footprint compared to the previous model, incorporating three times more recycled or bio-based materials. Additionally, the phone will be packaged in a plastic-free package. The aluminium frame of the device will be made entirely from 100% recycled materials and manufactured using 100% renewable energy.

CEO Carl Pei recently confirmed that the Nothing Phone 2 will feature a larger battery and display. The handset will house a 4700mAh battery, taking advantage of the increased form factor of the device to accommodate more battery capacity. Coupled with the power efficiency of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, this is expected to enhance battery life.

The Phone 2 has also been confirmed to sport a 6.7-inch display, which is 0.15 inches larger than its predecessor. It is reasonable to anticipate the device launching with at least 12GB of RAM, with the possibility of an 8GB RAM variant as well. Storage options are expected to include 128GB and 256 GB. These are the currently known specifications and features of the Nothing Phone 2.
