Users of the Nothing Phone 2 who are running Nothing OS 2.0.3 will need to download the Nothing OS Beta tool APK file from the Community thread, install it, and then select the option to Update to Beta version under Settings. To get Nothing OS 2.5 Open Beta 1, users need navigate to Settings > System > Update to Beta version. Users can select Check for new version and proceed according to the stated instructions if the update is not displayed.
Because it’s a beta version, the business has warned that it might mess with your data and factory reset. Prior to testing this upgrade, it is advised to backup all data. The community post describes a rollback option that is also available to users.
