The release date for the Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear A has been confirmed as April 18. The company has announced a naming approach for its range revealing that the upcoming true wireless earbuds, even though they follow the Nothing Ear 2 will not use the number ‘3’ in their name.
In addition to these, the Ear A is anticipated to be unveiled as a budget model with fewer features. Ahead of the launch, a recent report has leaked some information about the earbuds, including their pricing, design, and main features.
The All New Nothing Ear and Ear A
As per a report by Android Headlines, the standard model of Nothing Ear will be positioned as the premium option between the two models set to be released this month. It is rumored that they will be priced at EUR 150 (around ₹13,500) and are likely to be available in white color choices. Images leaked from the report indicate that these earbuds maintain the design of their predecessor.
Furthermore, it is suggested in the report that Nothing Ear is expected to include noise cancellation (ANC) and dual connectivity. The earbuds may also feature an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance while it’s possible that the case could receive an IPX2 rating.
The Nothing Ear is rumored to provide a battery life of around 7.5 hours when ANC is disabled with a total of 33 hours of battery life when considering the charging case well. The case is also said to support fast charging and claims to provide 10 hours of playback time with just a 10-minute charge.
Meanwhile, the Nothing Ear A is rumored to be priced at EUR 100 (approximately ₹9,000). The report showcases images of these earphones in black, white, and yellow color variants, with the yellow option purportedly featuring a more environmentally friendly design. If accurate, this suggests that the packaging of the earphones could also follow eco-friendly principles.
