Nothing CMF Phone 2 Pro to Include Charger in Box, Launching April 28

Nothing India head, Akis Evangelidis, confirmed that the upcoming Nothing CMF Phone 2 Pro will come with a charger in the box. Evangelidis also posted a picture on X revealing the box features a special compartment for the charging adapter.

He shared the post in response to a comment asking for a charger in the box, saying, “We heard you my man – giving it a go with CMF Phone 2 Pro in India.” Brands such as Apple and Samsung have been doing that for years, as it has almost become a standard when it comes to its smarthphones at this point, and Nothing usually falls in line. This time, though, they will include the charger with the charging cable. The CMF Phone 2 Pro is set to launch on April 28, at 6:30 PM, and it will likely be available on Flipkart, as confirmed by teasers.

Apart from the phone, Nothing is likely to announce three other products CMF Buds 2, CMF Buds 2a and CMF Buds 2 Plus. Though the CMF Phone 2 Pro is confirmed, it’s unclear whether a standard version of the CMF Phone 2 will be released at the same time. The “Pro” in the name suggests a non-Pro model might be introduced later. As for the price, details will be revealed at launch, but based on the CMF Phone 1’s launch price of ₹15,999 for the base model, the CMF Phone 2 Pro is expected to be priced under ₹20,000.

Anything higher could overlap with the Nothing Phone 3a range, so it’s likely the Phone 2 Pro will stay within that price bracket. Specification details are still limited, but a recent teaser hinted at a possible upgrade to a three-camera setup, replacing the CMF Phone 1’s two-camera system. If this is true, the third lens is likely to be an ultra-wide sensor. The CMF Phone 2 Pro is also expected to feature the new MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, which debuted with the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion earlier this month.
