Nothing([https://nothing.tech/](https://nothing.tech/)), the London-based consumer technology company, has announced the four recipients of its inaugural $40,000 Club Nothing Fund. The fund is allocated to support emerging independent creatives and grassroots music culture across various international communities.

Each of the four selected initiatives will receive $10,000 to facilitate their music events, spanning from a block party in New Delhi to a stage takeover at Uganda’s Nyege Nyege Festival. In addition to financial backing, winners will receive Nothing audio products and collaborate with the brand on limited-edition merchandise.

## Global Initiatives Receive Support

The winning projects were selected following a judging process that included a panel of professionals from the music, nightlife, and creative industries. Submissions were evaluated based on their capacity to build community, their relevance to contemporary music culture, and their proposed use of the funding.

## The 2026 Club Nothing Fund winners include:

* **Signal by New Delhi Community Radio (NDCR) – India:** Founded by Nida Merchant, NDCR operates as an online community radio platform. Its “Signal” initiative will manifest as a block party-style market takeover in Delhi, integrating music, fashion, art, and culture through collaborations with other independent Indian radio stations.
* **Black Bass Collective – United States:** This US-based group focuses on creating experiences inspired by Black art. Their project, “The Blood Ball,” will be hosted in a downtown Los Angeles warehouse, featuring performances by artists such as LSDXOXO. The event draws inspiration from 1990s ballroom culture and Afro-futuristic aesthetics.
* **Oroko Radio – Africa:** A non-profit community organization, Oroko Radio supports creative communities across Africa and the Diaspora. The funding will enable Oroko Radio to host a stage takeover at the Nyege Nyege Festival, scheduled for November on the banks of the Nile in Uganda.
* **Whorechata – United States:** Based in New York City, Whorechata is a collective that prioritizes queer and trans Latinx communities and champions Latin club music. The grant will support their largest event to date, planned for December, which aims to connect underground artists between NYC and cities in Latin America.

## Broader Engagement in Music and Culture

The Club Nothing Fund is part of Nothing’s broader strategy to engage with the music and entertainment industry. Earlier this year, the company appointed artist Charli XCX as its first global brand ambassador and investor. More recently, V of BTS was named a global brand ambassador for the launch of its flagship audio product, Headphone (1) Pro.

Charlie Smith, Chief Brand Officer at Nothing, commented, “This fund is designed to create opportunities for emerging creatives and bolster grassroots music culture globally. Our objective is to invest in those who inspire us and support innovators who are shaping their respective genres.”

All winning collectives will receive ten pairs of Nothing’s Ear (3a) earbuds, while DJs performing at each event will be provided with Nothing’s Headphone (1) Pro. The company also plans to co-create limited edition merchandise with each collective.
