As per the reports from the renowned market research company Counterpoint Research, Nokia phones have claimed the top rank in terms of software and security updates, build quality, and many more. This market research company ranks smartphones based on 4 categories or basis: software, security, build quality, and enterprise-recommended devices. Nokia has nailed in the first 3 out of 4 categories.

Let’s talk about the first category, software. In this area, Nokia is the best for some obvious reasons as this company provides stock Android in its smartphones. That means no more unnecessary ads and banned apps. A clean UI, the support of stock Android, and great updates & monthly patches make Nokia unbeatable.

If you use a Nokia smartphone, then you’ll definitely get monthly security patches which will secure your device better than never. In this area, Nokia is unbeatable as well.

And finally coming to the build quality, it is nothing to say at all. Everybody in this world knows how much durable Nokia phones are, whether it is a feature or a smartphone. Nokia uses really some great material to build its phones and most importantly, Nokia has also scored better in multiple sub-categories such as Drop impact, hard pressure, wear and scratch, moisture and liquid, etc.

Peter Richardson, VP & Research Director of Counterpoint Research said:

“For the second year in a row, Nokia phones have topped our rankings in providing the most comprehensive software and security updates and it has the highest share of portfolio recommended for enterprise use. The performance of Nokia phones continues to be a competitive advantage over the rest of the smartphone brands in the Android ecosystem. 98% of Android smartphone brands still offer inconsistent software and security updates or none at all. OnePlus also did well by providing faster software updates to all its devices currently selling in the market followed by Samsung and Realme”.
