As things stand, there are no talks between Manchester United and Neymar for a transfer. The Brazilian is set to leave PSG this summer, and the club is preparing for his exit.

In the last few days, rumours emerged that the Mancunian side were in talks with PSG for Neymar. However, there haven’t been any conversations regarding a move with the Glazers yet.

First team manager Erik Ten Hag has also been tight-lipped when asked about rumours surrounding the transfer. The Dutchman simply stated that he would talk about it when there is any news to give.

The PSG board is preparing to offload both Lionel Messi and Neymar this summer. The Argentine will be leaving since his contract will expire at the end of the season. However, the world-record transfer fee hasn’t been justified for the Brazilian in all these years. He hasn’t been able to help them win the Champions League, even though they have managed to maintain a stronghold over the French league.

The 31-year-old has a few years left on his deal with PSG, but they will have a change in the front line. His injuries could prove to be a hampering factor if he is to move to the Premier League. But, it wouldn’t stop PSG from asking for a significant transfer fee to sell him.
