The full **“Heavy Serenade”** album along with the music video for the title track will be released on **May 11 at 6 PM KST**. [soompi](https://www.soompi.com/article/1832810wpp/nmixx-announces-comeback-with-5th-ep-heavy-serenade) A heavy serenade — two words that sound like a contradiction — is pure NMIXX. Expect bold genre-mixing, complex choreography, and that signature controlled chaos they’ve built their identity on.

[Extended play (EP)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extended_play) formats have become the go-to launchpad for K-pop acts, and NMIXX has consistently used each one to level up their artistry.

## Why This Comeback Matters?

NMIXX has been steadily carving their own lane in a fiercely competitive K-pop landscape. With every release, they push sonic boundaries further — and a title like “Heavy Serenade” strongly hints at another genre-defying era incoming. This is their **5th EP**, meaning they’re not experimenting anymore — they’re executing.
