Is Nintendo Switch 2 Getting New OLED Display From Samsung
Is quiet since the announcement for the Nintendo Switch 2 has been made and players are already eagerly waiting to try their hands on the device.
What we are getting in the middle of this, are the rumors about the gaming device. Now according to the new report that came from Korea, the device may feature an OLED display by Samsung.
The new report is posted on a news site and explains how Nintendo is in continuous talks with Samsung. The former has been asking the latter to supply next–generation OLED panels for several IT devices.
It is important to note here that these talks are pretty recent, as they can be seen happening from December 1. However, the reports that we are receiving are conflicting too.
While according to some reports, the Nintendo Switch 2 may feature an OLED display from Samsung. According to some, there will be another display used for the gaming device.
What rumor is getting more credence is that the Nintendo Switch 2 will launch two SKUs. One with a cheap LCD panel and the other one will be a more expensive model with a better OLED panel.
However, till now any announcement has not been made by any company on the rumors. And we can’t say anything for sure. Also, in this light, it is tough to say when the Nintendo Switch 2 will be launched.
Earlier there are speculations of sometime around late 2024, but it can be sooner than expected. We have pretty good reason to say that because one of the reliable tech leakers has revealed this thing.
This rumor is getting more acceptance as Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa suggested that there will be not much time gap between the announcement and release of the Nintendo Switch 2.
So we can expect that it will get announced anytime around the next year and soon will be followed by the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2.
