Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase Event
As we all know already know there were so many rumours about the Nintendo Direct event. People were assuming that it could happen anytime in the second half of February.
But there were no comments or announcements by the Nintendo, so nothing was certain. However, now, Nintendo has announced its annual event.
In a recent announcement, Nintendo has confirmed a new Nintendo Direct Partner showcase for February 21. As you may already know it is an event where games by third – party developers and publishers are showcased.
Although this event is not surprising, not even the release date. For the past few years, Nintendo has been doing its Nintendo Direct Partner showcase event in February. And now Nintendo has officially posted on Twitter.
According to the details by the Nintendo, the event will air on February 21 and it will be of approximately 25 minutes. As said earlier, the broadcast will display the titles coming to the Nintendo Switch from development and publishing partners in the first half of 2024.
As the showcase of the week is a “partner” Direct, there are chances that there can be the announcement of Hi – Fi Rush. This most anticipated game which is heavily rumoured is coming to Nintendo this year.
With this, players are assuming that Pentiment can also be announced in the Nintendo Direct event. In this background it is worth noting that last week in Microsoft’s Xbox business update it was confirmed that almost 4 former Xbox exclusives are coming to rival platforms.
However, no one has till now spilled the beans what these games are. But according to assumptions they can be Sea of Thieves, Hi – Fi Rush, Pentiment and Grounded. He further said that,
“I don’t think we should as an industry ever rule out a game going to any other platform. We’re focused on these four games and learning from the experience. I don’t want to create a false expectation on those other platforms that this is somehow the first four to get over the dam and then the dam’s going to open and everything else is coming. That’s not the plan today.”
