NFL Draft 2024: How it works and where you can watch it

The NFL Draft is set to go through this week, with the roster set to be shaken up. The 2024 NFL Draft will span from April 25 to 27, with the first round scheduled for Day 1, Rounds 2-3 for Day 2, and Rounds 4-7 for Day 3.

Fans can tune in to ESPN, ABC, or the ESPN App to follow the draft picks unfold. ESPN and ABC will offer separate streams, with ESPN focusing on team needs, player resumes, and fit analysis, while ABC will emphasize player storytelling and background.

NFL Draft 2024: What is the Process Like?

Slots 1-20 are determined by the teams that didn’t make it to the playoffs last season, with the underperformers receiving the first picks. Slots 21-32 are determined based on the postseason results, while the Super Bowl winners will have the last pick in the NFL Draft.

In cases where there is a tie, factors such as the strength of the fixture list, the conference the teams play in and the net points will be taken into consideration. This will ensure that there is parity between the teams in the preseason.
