After months of speculation and discussion, the announcement of Neymar’s new contract is imminent. Only the last details are in discussion between the two parties right now. The Brazilian’s salary will be similar to what he has now. The big part remains fixed while bonuses will change based on trophies, goals and achieving other variables.

It is only a matter of time before the deal is announced. He is happy with Leonardo and Pochettino and the summer transfer window could see his former teammate and friend Lionel Messi could arrive at PSG too. He is very happy with the club and sees himself as a part of the future of the French Champions.

Neymar is currently ruled out injured, and will most probably miss the second leg of Barcelona vs PSG too, having been confirmed to be out for the first leg. The signing of the new contract will effectively put an end to all the speculation ever linking Neymar back to Barcelona or any other club in the world.

The 29-year-old has been a part of the PSG squad since making a world record move from Barcelona in August of 2017, and will no doubt be trying his hardest to return to full fitness to face Leo Messi and Barcelona on the pitch again.
