While the initial phase of his €222 million move from Barcelona was difficult to cope with for the Brazilian, he has finally made his peace with things at the club. Moreover, he feels happy with things at the French capital and sees himself as a part of the project in place.

About his good morale, Neymar explains: “I do not think that the club has changed, or that it is me who has changed. But the locker room, the environment around, makes us become more and more happy”.

The winger is set to extend his contract with PSG till 2026, and the deal is set to include a huge bonus if they win the Champions League. Neymar will feature in the semi finals of the competition for the second consecutive time this season, coming up against Manchester City tomorrow.

While the tie is an extremely difficult one considering the form that Pep Guardiola’s men have been in, PSG will have to beat the best if they hope to be the best. They have already overcome the demons of the Remontada and avenged the loss against Bayern Munich last season. All things considered, with a little bit of luck, this could finally be PSG’s year to win the Champions League.
