Paris Saint-Germain beat Bayern Munich in the quarter finals of this season’s Champions League to progress into the last four, yesterday night. Fans of the club have been treated to another good news, one that involves Neymar Jr extending his stay at the club.

PSG’s president confirmed that, “We’ll invest a lot in the club, Neymar and Mbappé have no excuse to leave PSG”.

The Brazilian further confirmed his stance, assuring the fans that he is indeed committed to a future at the club:

Neymar was awarded the man of the match award for the second leg of the clash against Bayern, which saw the Parisians extract revenge for their defeat in last season’s final.

After confirming few mins ago that Neymar will stay, #PSG president spoke to RMC Sport: “We'll invest a lot in the club, Neymar and Mbappé have no excuse to leave PSG”.

Neymar was rumoured to be interested in a return to Barcelona a few weeks ago, especially now that Leo Messi looks on the verge of being convinced to stay at the club by new President Joan Laporta. However, those rumours have now been put to rest by the winger himself along with the authorities at PSG.

Kylian Mbappe has also been the subject of transfer rumours for a very long time, with a move to Real Madrid being in the works for what seems like years now. However, now that PSG are on the cusp of reaching their second Champions League final in two years, and that this could actually be their year to lift the European trophy, Mbappe could actually end up staying at the club.
