Finally Lenovo’s Ryzen 4000 powered laptops have made their way into the market and is one of the first laptop series to be available as well. The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 has a starting price of $689.99, although you can get a modest discount with a Lenovo coupon code.

The “EXTRAFIVE” coupon gives you $34 off its list price which ultimately brings down the price to $655. This mid-range AMD powered laptop gives you a battery life of up to 14 hours which is exceptional and makes it ideal for business purposes.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 features a 15.6-inch 1080p IPS, anti-glare display with multi-touch support and 300 nits of brightness. The IdeaPad 5 laptop has an incredible 90% active area ratio.

The laptop weighs just 3.7 pounds and has modest dimensions of 14.0 x 9.2 x 0.78-inches. Also, it supports Wi-Fi 6 i.e. 802.11AX (2 x 2) and Bluetooth 5.1.

It houses the new Ryzen 5 4500U APU with 6 cores, clocked at 2.3 GHz (up to 4.0 GHz turbo) paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It comes integrated with AMD Radeon™ Graphics based on the 7nm process which improves the iGPU performance.

Even though being very slim Lenovo has managed to pack two user-facing Dolby Audio speakers. For security, we have a webcam privacy shutter and fingerprint reader as well. The Ryzen 5 4500U CPU’s score of 4,747 outscored the Intel’s Comet Lake-U processors in Geekbench 5 permanence tests as well.
